Bay Area and Fremont Public Transportation


Here are some resources for travel in Fremont and the San Francisco Bay area.
Fremont is well connected with the Bay area by several bus and train
systems. Public transportation is excellent.

BART – Bay Area Rapid Transit

Called the primary artery of the Bay Area. The Bart system connects Fremont with
San Francisco and the rest of the bay area and 2 of the 3
bay area airports – Oakland (OAK) and San Francisco (SFO).While SFO is directly connected
to BART, OAK needs a short shuttle ride. If you are a business travel looking to go to downtown
San Franciso, OAK airport is closer to the business district than SFO.

AC Transit


AC Transit is the bus system that runs throughout Fremont,It covers all of
Alameda and Contra costa counties and has destinations in San Francisco as well.

ACE Train


The ACE train connects Fremont and the East bay with Stockton.
The Altamont Commuter Express (ACE) runs six times a day across the Altamont corridor:
three a.m. westbound trains in the mornings, and three p.m. eastbound trains
in the evenings. ACE travels between Stockton and San Jose, with additional stops
in Lathrop/Manteca, Tracy, Vasco, Livermore, Pleasanton, Fremont, Great America,

Amtrak Capitol corridor


Amtrak capitol corridoor service connects Sacramento to Fremont and other destinations.
It is a partnership between Amtrak and Caltrans,The Capitol Corridor route
provides daily round trips between San Jose, Oakland, and Sacramento.

The Fremont Amtrak Station is near the intersection of Fremont Blvd & Peralta Blvd

Other Bay Area transportation

Caltrain


Caltrain operates weekday trains between San Francisco and San Jose, with
commute-hour service to Gilroy. Weekend service is offered from San Francisco
to San Jose.
